Major Rhondda Cynon Taff Roads Investment Announced

RCT Council’s major road improvement programme has received another boost.
The Council’s Cabinet has agreed to invest an additional half a million pounds in to the resurfacing of local main roads.
This new funding follows on from last summer’s cash injection of £1.6 million to improve main highways.
The roads to be included in the investment programme will be:
B4275 Aberaman Bridge to Gasworks Road - £60,000
C241 High Street, Hirwaun - £45,000
B4275 Gadlys to Cwmdare Ph1 - £85,000
A4093 Blackmill Road, Hendreforgan, Gilfach Goch - £40,000
Old A4058 – Brithweunydd Road, Trealaw - £50,000
Barry Road, Pwllgwaun –including some kerbing - £35,000
Capel Hill, Tonyrefail East Ph1- £45,000
A4059 Penderyn - £60,000
C103 Church Road Tonteg – inc Radnor Dr & Ruthin Way £56,000
Holford Street, Aberaman - £24,000
