Olympic Star at Hockey Day in Hawthorn, 19th March

Olympic gold medallist Sean Kerly is special guest at a day to promote Hockey in Rhondda Cynon Taf this Wednesday, March 19, 2008.
The former GB striker, who won an Olympic Gold medal at the 1988 games in Seoul, will be coaching and giving his expert advice to young players at Hawthorn High School, Pontypridd, from 12.30-3.30pm on Wednesday.
The Hockey Day ‘bullies off’ at 8am with a Breakfast Club at Brynna Primary, followed by a Primary School Festival from 10am-12midday run by Dragon Sport at Garth Olwg Comprehensive School, Church Village.
Welsh Hockey Union staff and girls and boys from across Rhondda Cynon Taf will attend the afternoon event at Hawthorn. The day is rounded off at 6.30pm with An Audience with Sean Kerly at Rhondda Heritage Park Hotel, Trehafod.
