Rhondda Sports Centre Re-opening Day April 1st

At 10am on April 1st the Rhondda Sports Centre will be reopened in an official ceremony by the Mayor of Rhondda Cynon Taf, Cllr Jane Ward. From early afternoon onwards free swimming will be allowed for everyone for the remainder of the day in the refurbished pool.
Major improvement work at the Centre in Ystrad, is nearing completion – and the new-look fitness suite, swimming pool and more spacious function rooms are set to open to the public on Tuesday April 1st.
The work at Ystrad forms part of a £6m refurbishment programme by Rhondda Cynon Taf Council to provide the Leisure facilities that residents expect. Visitors to Rhondda Sports Centre can look forward to using the latest in aerobic and resistance equipment in the fitness suite, as well as upgraded changing areas.
