Tonyrefail Leisure Centre to Open Soon

Work is nearing completion on the improvement programme at Tonyrefail Leisure Centre.
The new-look centre, due to open to the public in August, will boast a modern fitness suite - offering the latest in aerobic and resistance training; refurbished swimming pool and changing areas with facilities for families, as well as modern décor throughout the building and improved energy-efficiency measures, providing long-term savings.
Major improvements have also been carried out on Tonyrefail Leisure Centre’s entrance, making it more accessible and welcoming. As much of the building as possible has been kept open over the past year while refurbishment work has been underway, with only the swimming pool closing. However, the centre will be closed from July 21 until August 11, while essential recommissioning work is carried out.
