Trealaw Road Temporary Closure

A road in Trealaw, Rhondda will be closed to traffic for eight weeks due to essential works to be carried out on the sewerage system by Dwr Cymru Welsh Water’s contractor Morgan Est PLC.
From Monday March 9th to Friday April 24th 2009, a section of Trealaw Road in Trealaw will be closed to all traffic to enable the renewal of the existing sewer pipe. The work is necessary to alleviate internal flooding being experienced by some properties in the area.
This project will of course affect the regular bus service in the area and therefore all journeys on the no. 171 (Maerdy – Clydach Vale) service will operate via Ynyscynon Road and Miskin Road in Trealaw. There will be no change to the times of the buses.
